Kevin Kowalke, Lead Mortgage Consultant and Co-Director of Retail Operations in Brookfield, WI, has been a leading expert in the residential mortgage industry since 1997. He is a 1996 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus in Marketing.

Kevin has been recognized, by Bank of America, as a top-producing leader in the mortgage industry. Kevin was chosen as one of four mortgage professionals nationwide (at the time there were approximately 450,000 licensed mortgage professionals in the United States) to be interviewed on how to build a successful mortgage practice. Bank of America showcased this videotaped interview as part of its nationwide training course for its mortgage professionals.

Kevin has developed specialized programs for a number of specific needs when it comes to mortgage financing. Kevin’s most popular programs include “The Ultimate, Step-by-Step Guide to Successfully Financing Your First Home,” “The Divorce and Mortgage Planning Guide to Continued Homeownership,” as well as “Life After Bankruptcy: A Step-by-Step Guide to Buying a Home After Filing Bankruptcy.”

Kevin has developed his “Personal Financial Success Series” which includes specialized presentations for every aspect of personal finances. Kevin presents to local area businesses, universities, churches, organizations and small groups. The topics include educational presentations and workshops on debt management, understanding your credit score, budgeting, successful first time home buying, divorce and mortgage planning, and basic personal financial success.

Currently, Kevin is the only mortgage professional in the State of Wisconsin currently providing continuing legal education to attorneys and paralegals for credit towards their annual educational requirements. Kevin has been an invited speaker at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University, Bryant & Stratton Career College, The Milwaukee Career College, The Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin, The Paralegal Association of Wisconsin, and The Milwaukee Bar Association.

Kevin developed “The Mortgage Minute,” which is a show featured on 620 WTMJ, Wisconsin’s Largest Radio Station. For 26 weeks he educated 620 WTMJ’s listeners on mortgage and personal finance topics. He is currently in the works of producing his “Personal Financial Success Series” that will be featured on numerous podcasting platforms including iTunes®.

Kevin is also currently working on authoring his first book, “The Ultimate, Step-by-Step Guide to Successfully Financing Your First Home.” This is the first in a series of 5 different books he will be authoring focusing on a specific area of personal finance.

Kevin is an Advisory Committee Member of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Milwaukee.

He was hand selected to be the local area Independent Business Adviser for the Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle, a prominent national marketing firm. He is the director of a local group of business professionals in which he teaches proven marketing principles that any business owner or sales professional can apply to improve his/her business.

Kevin is a member of the Milwaukee Public Museum Marketing & Public Relations Committee.

Kevin volunteers by helping educate individuals and families that need help in areas, such as, budgeting, credit repair, and basic personal financial issues.
